How it works

Three steps from a Maps listing to a plan

AIFLB follows the way local SEO work actually happens: research first, comparison second, recommendations last.

Inspect a business on Google Maps

Open any listing. The extension panel appears under the business header with categories, services, profile details and one-click audits. No tab switching, no manual lookups.

Compare against competitors

Capture the businesses that outrank your client. Compare primary and secondary categories, listed services, review response rates, posting activity and map rankings point by point.

Turn findings into an action plan

The dashboard converts gaps into prioritized recommendations: categories to add, services to list, reviews to answer, pages to create. Save it, work through it, share it with the client.

Extension + dashboard

One workflow, two tools that share everything

The extension captures data where it lives, on Google Maps. The dashboard is where analysis, recommendations and deliverables happen. Everything you capture is saved to your account.

See the whole profile, not the public summary

Categories including secondary ones, listed services with descriptions, attributes, exact hours, claimed status, Place ID and CID, rating distribution and review topics. Captured in one click from the Maps listing.

Outcome: a complete profile snapshot in about ten seconds, saved to your account.

Put the client next to the businesses that outrank them

Capture competitors the same way you capture clients. Compare categories, service coverage, review response rates and posting cadence side by side, and run a rank grid to see where each one actually wins on the map.

Outcome: a concrete gap list, such as two service categories competitors use that the client does not.
Competitor comparison in the dashboard

Findings become a prioritized list, not a data dump

Audit results are graded and explained. AI analysis of rank grids and profiles produces major and minor recommendations in plain language: what to fix first, what to fix next, what already works.

Outcome: an action list ordered by impact that a client or junior can follow.

Keep the work, reuse the work

Every capture, audit and analysis is stored with the business it belongs to. Copy findings into your proposals, export lead lists to CSV, and come back next month to re-run the same checks.

Outcome: research that stays organized per business instead of dying in browser tabs.

Features

The audits that answer real client questions

Every tool exists because a question kept coming up in local SEO work. Why does the competitor outrank us? What categories are we missing? Which reviews need a response first?

Full GBP Audit

NAP, hours, categories, services, attributes, description, claimed status, Place ID and CID, rating distribution and review topics. One capture shows what is filled in, what is thin and what is missing entirely.

Competitor Gap Analysis

Example finding: competitors use three relevant service categories that are missing from the selected profile. That single sentence has closed more local SEO deals than any dashboard chart.

Prioritized AI Action Plan

Audit and rank grid results become major and minor recommendations in plain language, ordered by likely impact. Not a score to admire, a list to work through.

Categories revealed while you browse Maps

Google shows one category on a listing. The profile usually has several. The AIFLB extension shows primary and secondary categories directly on the Google Maps page, so competitor category research happens while you browse instead of becoming a separate task.

  • Free browser-based category research on any listing you open
  • No manual lookups or copying names into a spreadsheet
  • A "find more" shortcut into 5,095 categories with related suggestions
  • Faster competitor research: open five listings, see five category sets

Questions people ask before buying

Straight answers, including the ones about limits.

What is AIFLB?

AIFLB (AI For Local Businesses) is a Chrome extension plus a web dashboard for local SEO work. The extension shows Google Business Profile data such as categories, services and profile details while you browse Google Maps. The dashboard stores your captured businesses and runs full audits, competitor comparisons, rank scans, website checks and AI recommendations.

Who is it built for?

Local SEO agencies, freelancers, GBP consultants, web designers who manage local clients, and local business owners who want to understand what nearby competitors are doing.

Is the Chrome extension free?

Yes. You can install the extension with a free account and use it for category research and basic business information directly inside Google Maps. Paid features open in the dashboard.

What does the $97 lifetime license include?

One user, lifetime access to the core AIFLB platform: the Chrome extension, the web dashboard, saved businesses, full GBP audits, website audits, review and post audits, competitor research, rank grid scans and the AI tools with a fair usage allowance. It also includes future maintenance and bug fixes for the core product.

Does lifetime access include unlimited AI usage?

No, and we say that plainly. AI generation and rank scans have real per-use costs, so they come with generous included allowances and fair usage limits. If you want unlimited AI, you can connect your own Gemini API key in the dashboard and generation then runs on your own quota.

Does AIFLB change my Google Business Profile?

No. AIFLB reads publicly visible profile information and gives you recommendations. Any change to a profile is made by you, in your own Google account.

Does AIFLB require access to my Google account?

No. The extension does not ask for Google account permissions. It reads what is publicly visible on the Google Maps pages you open, and it talks only to your AIFLB account.

Can I analyze competitors?

Yes. Open any competitor on Google Maps and capture the same data you would for a client: categories, services, reviews, posting activity and profile completeness. Then compare profiles side by side in the dashboard.

Can I use it for client audits?

Yes. That is the main use case. Capture the client profile, run the audits, review the findings and turn them into a prioritized action list you can share.

Does it work outside the United States?

Yes. AIFLB works on any public Google Business Profile you can open in Google Maps. Category data and search volume references are strongest for English-language markets.

Is rank tracking included?

Rank grid scans are included with a per-scan allowance. Each scan checks live Google Maps rankings across a 5 by 5 grid around the business location. Scans are not unlimited because each one queries live ranking data.

Can I request a refund?

Yes. The Founders license comes with a refund policy; see the refund policy for the current terms.

Will future agency features be included?

The Founders license covers the core AIFLB platform, including maintenance and improvements to it. High-volume agency features such as team seats or bulk operations may later be offered as separate add-ons. Founders will always keep what their license includes today.

Is AIFLB affiliated with Google?

No. AIFLB is an independent software product and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Google.
